Some background information I have organized this international retreat since 2004. Beginning in 2012 2 retreats will be offered annually, one in English, one in German. This year's international retreat on the lovely island of Hiiumaa, Estonia is jointly created by Anne Kallas, Margit Ivanov, Peeter Klanberg and myself. Participants came from different walks of life, including leaders, scientists, artists, researchers, educators, students, business professionals and consultants.
They came from various European countries including Austria, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. What brought them together was curiosity in the unfamiliar and courage to enter uncharted territory. Each year invited speakers share their views and ideas related to to topic of the retreat. Hintergrund-Information Seit 2004 organisiere ich diese internationale Klausuren. In 2012 wird es das erste Mal zwei Klausuren geben: eine in englisch und eine in deutsch. Die deutsche Klausur findet im Kloster Bigorio, oberhalb von Lugano statt. In der Vergangenheit nahmen Menschen aus vielen Bereichen des Lebens teil, z.B. Künstler, Geschäftsleute, Studenten, Forscher, Berater und Führungskräfte. Was sie zusammenbrachte war Neugier am Neuen und der Mut, unentdeckte "innere" Landschaften zu durchschreiten.
