Pathway Guidance - Europe Retreats

Retreats - a fresh approach to personal and business development

Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary and Oxford Dictionary define a retreat, among other meanings, as "a group withdrawal for study at a safe place". Pathway Guidance - Europe Retreats are a variation on this theme. They provide the opportunity for conversations for which often there is no time within daily (business) routine. In the setting of a retreat it is possible to explore selected topics in much more depth and from a wider perspective than usually possible.

The impact of a Pathway Guidance - Europe Retreat can be profound. Because of the special set-up (quiet and inviting places, diversity of participants, guidance by facilitation, and dedicated theme and time frame) the outcomes of a retreat may include:

  • New ways of looking at and understanding of a personal or business challenge (reframing)
  • Exploration of innovative means in dealing with personal or business challenges (creativity and innovation)
  • Development of new relationships in a very short period of time (networking)

"I have been participating Pathway Guidance retreats since 2005 almost every year. It allowed me to come out of my everyday “box” and be more myself in a free and relaxed environment. It has been a place for my personal development where I have set my goals and planned my private business. One of my biggest personal challenges that I have been dealing with during those retreats was my inner voice that said one day that I should become an entrepreneur and another day that I have to continue as an employee in a big company. I was dreaming with my own company since I was 15 and now I have made the decision, I work in my own company and enjoy it.

I thank Uwe and all other co-participants during those retreats enabling me to work with my most important questions and find myself, today I am an entrepreneur employing over 30 people. Thank you"
