Retreat 2010 will focus on "Leaving the trodden path - creative possibilities for dealing with conflict" - for oneself and the communities one is part of. Among the many aspects of this year’s theme, the following questions seem particularly intriguing:

  • What is a conflict?
  • What types of conflict exist?
  • How does our way of thinking relate to our approaches to conflict understanding and resolution?
  • What is required to resolve a conflict?
  • What effect has conflict on mind, body and soul- and does it matter?
  • What connects conflict, change and creativity?
  • ... your question?

If this resonates with you, you might consider joining us in 2010.

General outline and flow:

The structure of the retreat is around the following 6 guideposts:

(1) Coming Together allows participants to share what attracted them to the retreat in a inviting and enjoyable way

(2) Who we are invites participants to share stories and experiences of their personal and business life in a dep and meaningful way.

(3) What we want to pay attention to provides the opportunity to create a map of the diverse viewpoints related to the retreat theme - allowing everyone to share ones views in an open and supporting atmosphere

(4) Finding some answers clarifies and explores the issues at hand, individually and/or in groups

(5) Relating past, now and future connects insights and anticipation in a holistic way

(6) Celebrating is just that - the appreciation of what has been achieved.
