This is the initial invitation to a collective book-writing event regarding the topic of "Lifecycle". Originally starting with a more narrow view of "Product and Process Lifecycle (e.g. PLM)", the theme has evolved towards the cross-disciplinary theme of "aspects of lifecycles" since the idea was initially communicated in July. |
Since the initial invitation diverse professionals from Italy, France, Spain and Germany have shown interest. The list of potential participants includes sofar technologists, computer scientists, psychologists, administrators and general managers. What is "A book about lifecycle experiences1 - including, but not limited to product lifecycle management?"At the core of the event lies the idea of writing the draft of a book about aspects (human, technology, product/process and other) of lifecycles with an inter-disciplinary group of motivated people in just 3 days. In particular the inter-disciplinary structure might enable new / different viewpoint of specific specialisations of lifecycle approaches, as for example in PLM.
